This year the 37th March for Life will take place on Monday, January 24 in Washington D.C. Tens of thousands of people will converge in the Capital in a show of solidarity to pray for an end to legalized abortion in our country. Bill Wohlgemuth, our Parish Respect-Life coordinator, has arranged for a bus to transport our parishioners to Washington D.C. for the March for Life gathering. The bus will leave from the front of our church at 6:45 am. We will join thousands of people at the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception for a 10:00 am Mass, celebrated by Cardinal Rigali.
This year, nine members of the Knights of Columbus will join us as chaperones for any eighth grade student, whether from our school or PREP program, who would like to join us. The Knights have offered to supply a second bus for the trip, if needed.
