Deacon Anthony Albanese is assigned to Saints Simon and Jude!!
 
Deacon Albanese is studying for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. God willing, he will be ordained a priest for the Philadelphia Diocese in May of 2023.
 
Deacon Anthony will arrive at Saints Simon and Jude Parish June 6th. His eight week summer assignment will conclude August 8th. He will live full time at the Rectory for the summer of 2022. Deacon Albanese will return on Thursdays and weekends during the Academic Year from September 2022 until April of 2023.
 
As a Deacon he will assist at Mass, Proclaim the Gospel, Preach and Baptize. He will assist at Weddings and Funerals. Deacon Albanese will visit the sick at home, hospital and senior centers for communion calls. Deacon Anthony will be introduced to the School, PREP, VBC and School Summer Programs.
 
He will be involved with Office appointments of various concerns and introduced to the tasks of each employee.
