Saints Simon and Jude school is conducted by the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Their congregation is committed to the apostolate of teaching at all levels. The unique aim of the academic program of the school is to provide a learning experience in all areas which are fully integrated in the light of the faith.

Our School follows the Course of Study established by the school law of Pennsylvania, published by the Department of Instruction, Harrisburg, along with the Archdiocesan School System of Philadelphia. 

Presently, the staff of the school includes a Principal, Director of Religious Education, classroom teachers, Physical Education teacher, Librarian, Music teacher, Art teacher, Computer Education teacher, and Advanced Math teacher. The Chester County Intermediate Unit provides four staff members for remedial reading, mathematics, speech and language, and guidance.

SCHOOL ADMISSIONS
Tuition
Grade school tuition rates are adjusted to reflect any increases in staff salaries and other expenses and is subsidized for parishioners. Kindergarten tuition is paid for in full by those families who use this service.

All children must be five years old by September 1. Families must be registered members of SS. Simon and Jude Parish or, if there is room, registered members of SS. Peter and Paul Parish. Other students are accepted as space is available. All must present the following:

1.  State Birth Certificate

2.  Baptismal Certificate ( if not baptized at SSJ )

3.  Record of Immunization

4.  A non-refundable $50 fee which will be applied toward the yearly tuition. New students are admitted only if there are vacancies and if parents and child are registered at SS. Simon and Jude Parish or SS. Peter and Paul Parish. Children not registered in these parishes are admitted only if space is available. Parents must present a transfer slip from the previous school, a copy of the report card, a birth certificate, a baptismal certificate and records of immunization. There is a non-refundable $50 registration fee which will be applied to the yearly tuition.

Class size is limited to 30 students per class and there are two sections of each grade. Grades 1-4 are self-contained; Grades 5 & 6 are departmental within the grade; Grades 7 & 8 are departmental within the two grades.
