Prayer Shawl
Prayer Shawl Ministry
A group of dedicated women gather to either crochet or knit prayer shawlson the first and third Wednesdays of each month at 7:00 pm
in the IHM Room in Monihan Hall
from September through June.
The group begins with a prayer for all those who will benefit from their ministry
and then they bless all of the shawls that have been completed.
These prayer shawls are then placed in the prayer shawl box
located to the left of the front doors as one enters the narthex of church.
Any parishioner who is in need of healing or else knows someone who needs prayer
is invited to take a shawl from the box.
The women of this ministry ask that the parishioner sign the book
located in the lid of the box with their name and the name of the person
who will be receiving the prayer shawl so that the person can be included in prayer.
